I have. It merely presents evidence for what we already knew: CECOT tortures inmates and sending non criminal Venezuelans there with no due process is morally wrong, inhumane, and maybe illegal.
Censoring it is merely pro regime propaganda. 60 minutes asked for a DHS response and they refused. There’s nothing wrong with the reporting.
Fourteenth amendment’s equal protection clause says “no person shall be denied equal protection”, not “no citizen”
the same distinction is made in the fifth, “no person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without the due process of law”
The constitution is actually quite clear.
Edit to clarify: the SCROTUS is definitely going to come up with some reason to explain why words do not mean what they mean, but both trump’s actions and siding with him like that are in fact impeachable.
Saying “it doesn’t push the ball forward” is such incredible bullshit too. Even if there’s nothing new, giving it awareness is still pushing the ball forward.
…giving it awareness is still pushing the ball forward.
100%.
I felt physically sick the last (very rare) time I checked my Nextdoor, and a person reporting ICE activity was getting brigaded with “BuT tHeY’rE ArReStiNg CriMiNaLs AnD pRoTeCtiNg Us” type comments. Like I was seriously HOPING this was bot farm activity. Like it’s heartbreakingly painful to see people that are sincerely that stupid.
The more irrefutable proof of these crimes, the more the “I’ll believe anything I hear” normies will accept the truth as “common knowledge”, and the hardline fascists get further discredited and ridiculed in public discourse.
It’s only a 15 minute watch, so worth checking out. The TLDW is that the US government is sending non-criminals seeking asylum to be tortured in El Salvador. 97% of people sent there have no criminal record. The people there were beaten, sexually assaulted, starved, denied access to medical care and clean water, forced to remain in stress positions, subject to bright light 24 hours a day, and/or thrown in pitch black isolation cells with no light.
It’s not a surprise to those of us, still scrolling through this thread of interest. And yet, there’s still more people who weren’t sure if the prior claims were true and yet more that still don’t give a fuck.
Why not watch the video and see? It’s quite appalling. This is a brutal 24/7 torture hole that the USA is kidnapping innocent people and disappearing them to.
Its a fully substantiated story about knowing US complicity in human rights abuses, that was pulled last minute because the government chose not to comment.
It’s simply a professional-grade investigative story on the conditions that were largely already known in bits and pieces; it rolls all of that up into a single segment, and is additionally corroborated by some people who were deported and thrown into CECOT without any justification.
So has anyone here watched it? Other than Streisand effect, is there any reason for the fuss?

it’s definitely illegal.
For now anyway.
If I recall the only reason US rights apply to non-us citizens is a supreme court ruling. Scary to think about those implications
Probably breaks some international law too

Oh yeah it is, but like you said unless congress grows a pair scotus is rouge
It sounds like CBS’s controversial new boss censored it, rather than the DHS.

Someone else linked it below (https://ia802801.us.archive.org/15/items/insidececot/60minutesCECOTsegment.mp4).

There is nothing surprising about the video if you’ve been keeping up with the news and not making excuses. It’s just confirmation of what I’ve known.

Besides the blatant censorship by a Trump sycophant?
Yes, that’s the, question. Is there anything interesting in the videos.

It shows the truth behind illegal detainment. Which is diametrically opposed to the stance given by Trump and his suck ups.
put trump in there.
-the monkey paw curls a finger…-

Judge for yourself.
