Google is hosting a CBP app that uses facial recognition to identify immigrants, while simultaneously removing apps that report the location of ICE officials because Google sees ICE as a vulnerable group. “It is time to choose sides; fascism or morality? Big tech has made their choice.”

Funny how you know, ICE isn’t going after the CEO of Microsoft or the CEO of Google, you know. I guess if you’re stupidly rich, you’re immune from deportation.

The CEO of Google ought to be ashamed.

Google was all about producing products people were excited about, from search that was useful to improving browsers and email and setting standards, they even started Let’s Encrypt which makes the web safer every day. They’ve contributed so much positive technology, and they were eager to try new things that inspired alternatives even as Google killed their own implementation.

Then they focused on cloud and found huge investments from Nazi regimes, they removed “don’t be evil”, and became evil.

It wasn’t just the fun perks at the office, googlers used to be excited about the work they do. Now they get fired for expressing concern about producing products for Nazis.

Yes, i See no reason why this shouldnt work, even without Google services installed it should work (but notifcations dont work properly, for that you could consider Molly and their unifiedPush implementation)

Although I use Molly myself and it’s quite great, I never had issues with Signal’s notifications on GrapheneOS, LineageOS, or CalyxOS… Definitely stick with Molly, if you can!

Your mom was wrong, that shit’s the best substance ever made, as long as it’s real (I recommend the test kits at dancesafe.org). Though personally I think it’s best used in a pretty nature setting with a close friend, not a loud music big crowd thing.

They’re a for-profit corporation. They will support whatever makes them money. There are no good or bad for-profit corporations. They only do exactly what they were designed to do. That being said, their employees and shareholders DO have a choice, and CAN be held responsible.
