I used vitamin C because I expected it to make my skin tighter and less translucent, but it doesn’t seem to work

    2 options:

    • Moisturize. Healthy skin, healthy life.

    • pick up farming. Toiling in the dirt, baked by the sun will have the skin too cooked to show veins beneath.

I don’t know how old you are and whether you need to hear this, but it is totally fine to look the way you look. You are either your hardest critic, or surrounded by the wrong people. This sounds like such a tiny detail that most probably won’t even notice.

Look at yourself in a mirror from 2 m / 6 ft away. That’s how most people see you. Occasionally people might be half as far away. Are they really that stricking?

The most obvious things always receive the most attention. A stylish haircut, or a great outfit or a cool tattoo will leave a bigger impression than any vein or scar or whatever else.

Seconding a warm toned concealer, something like a peachy color like this, OP! Counteracts blue/purple on the color wheel. Look into color correcting concealers.

Kenneth: “Miss Maroney, I have that hemorrhoid cream you wanted!”

Jenna: stunned, in the middle of talking to her new boss “…it’s for my face…”

Jack: “Well wherever you’re putting it, I think it’s working.”
