“What we are seeing is not a strategic pivot away from Asia, but a forced reallocation under severe structural constraints,” said Francesco Schiavi, a research fellow at the Middle East Institute Switzerland. “Russia’s absence from these key shows reflects the shrinking, regionalized, and increasingly concentrated nature of its arms-export profile—trends that have been sharply accelerated by the war in Ukraine.”

Not even other countries, Russia is basically the colonial empire run by Moscow and St Petersburg.
What I meant is that they occupy everything, but these two cities and probably the ground in the middle, in between Moscow and what they once called Leningrad. Or Petrograd.
Moscow is their only city, plus St Petersburg is a front-end for stupid westerners buying the ‘great Russian culture’ narrative. I lived there for some months, and it’s so fucking pathetic, the city. But it serves its mission.
The rest is them occupying places that would be independent countries otherwise. Kuban is Ukraine. Ichkeria and Dagestan are independent states. Russia waged two genocidal wars on Ichkeria merely 30 years ago. Dzhokhar Dudayev (the leader of independence movement of Ichkeria, the one who Russia claimed as terrorist number one) said that Russia would break its teeth trying to chew up Ukraine. Kazan (Tatarstan) tried to become an independent state in the 90s, but wasn’t allowed to. The far east is just people forcefully deported from western territories, like Ukraine, Belarus, and whatnot. The far north is just some tribes they enslaved. There was never any Russia in the first place.
Hey, and the name is stolen from [Kyivan] Rus’ (Ruthenia), merely to claim rights on Ukraine, and puzzle everyone who won’t read a single book on the history of the region. Also, did you know they removed the very word Kyivan from the name in their history books? I’m not 100% sure that happened after the 2022 or prior to it. But it’s some recent ‘improvement,’ so to say. Before that, they coined the wrong name Kievan and Kiev as well. Kyiv was named after Kyi, not some Kie.
Ah, and the cherry on top, Belarus. Became Belorussia during the Russian occupation. White Russia. They call the country this way till today.
Even
fuckingGermans changed the name from literally WhitefuckingRussia to Belarus. Just after the 2020 protests, when the elected Belarusian president asked them. Thank you very much. Yeah, must be nice calling a country White Russia. Fucking High Austrians, aren’t they? (No real disrespect for Germans, they’re the good guys this century. I’m just fucking around here right now.)
