I think this my personal golden rule.
“Satire is meant to ridicule power. If you are laughing at people who are hurting, it’s not satire, it’s bullying.” - Terry Prachett
Dave Chappelle is going to be big mad if he sees this.
But then I need to be sitting down to punch somebody in the dick…
Could do a split instead.
Because…?
Like, if you have to be aggressive or violent, don’t do it to those below you or less capable than you.
Oh metaphorically speaking, got it.
I just got confused because I’m quite tall so it seemed unfair.
No, not metaphorically. What they are saying is that you have to get in there with knees and elbows when dealing with the
lilliputiansnormal people. There are so many more of them than us they will overwhelm you if you don’t take them down hard and quick.
They will one day be a part of our infantry and help us behead the masters that once manipulated us.
You shouldn’t punch children. Unless they’re above you on a staircase. Theb it’s fair game.
You can’t pull off a sweet uppercut by punching down.
That assumes the punch-deserving party is always “upwards” from you.
If you punch down, towards people that are less influential or less capable than you, someone “upward” of you is probably benefitting from the lower people fighting each other instead of themselves.
That’s a good personal rule, sir.
