I could have a thousands friends that joined the military, but it helps immensely that we haven’t been annexing foreign countries with the express purpose of annexing it and/or displacing their population since 1949, and that was WAY before any of my friends were born.
Weird, none of my friends have ever signed up to invade another country to commit genocide there.
