Yesterday I went grocery shopping with the guy I’m staying with, and it was so fun it felt like a trip in itself, lol.
The rain, the moon, getting to snuggle my wife…
I like to wash dishes…
Trees, flowers, nature, dogs, cats, all animals basically.
It’s like my human soul yearns for a basic connection with reality that has been abstracted away by modern society.
Boobs. Sunsets. The smell of the desert after rain. Big rain storms. A clear starry night. Lever action rifles. Gelato. Boobs. Nice bourbon. Eating something I made myself that takes more then 24 hours, like sourdough, beer, hot sauce, pickles, etc.
I always thought it was cool how you could go from one very specific location to another very specific location very far away with just a few relatively simple directions.
Sunsets, a good breeze, sitting in a window with the sun on me, not the cold but being bundled up and warm when it’s cold out, bird sounds, extra rooty trees, puffy clouds, whispy clouds, people laughing, backyard rodents livin they lives, old cars, car maintenance, well figured pieces of wood, cooking, cooking with others, running errands with friends
Seeing birds outside. And froggies. And rats. And honestly any other critter.
Had a girl I was dating tell me she loved my excitement for little things I was finding in an Asian grocery store. Yeast balls, twice fermented soy sauce, oyster sauce, fresh enoki mushrooms. I like cooking and eating and I guess ingredients are my happy place.
I’ve been kind of obsessed with taking photos of utility poles lately.
That’s cool. I wonder what mundane things I should start photographing. I like storm water drains, maybe those.
Hell yeah
I made peanut butter at home last night. Both batches came out great.
It really is pretty darn simple. I buy normal roasted peanuts at the store, then grind them up in a Vitamix (think blender, but on steroids), then add a pinch of flavors to taste.
Putting a small amount of heavy cream and stevia in with my coco wheats. Pairs nicely with a hardboiled egg and an orange.
I just bought a new watch for $35. Haven’t worn a watch in nearly 20 years. I’m excited to know the time without looking at my phone!
I like a lot to use white clean clothing.
When I see a butterfly I get really excited. I usually try to get a picture and try to look up what it is and what it eats. I have been trying to plant host plants and can’t wait to see the butterflies they all feed.
Dull Men’s Club is a fantastic fediverse community where this kind of stuff tends to be discussed.
