I really want to know. I could go off on a diatribe or soap box it. But I really don’t get or who benefits. I think it’s just the US government fucking us again. I stand with Iran because we had no reason to hit them in the first place. But people are dieing, world hates America now more than ever, prices are at a breaking point and so on and so forth. But really what do we gain or lose that we haven’t already.

The same thing that it’s been for almost every war the US has been involved in since WWII: We want a government that will be good for US business and military interests. Iran in particular we’ve been fucking around with for over half a century. If the question is why now? It’s anyone’s guess. It’s Trump, he isn’t exactly the most sane president we’ve had, even amongst the evil bastards. Distraction from Epstein? Distraction from shitty domestic policy? Trying to create enough chaos to try to justify canceling elections? Israel pushing for it particularly hard? Trump just randomly losing it over something stupid? A spot opened up in our war calendar? Who knows?

Rich USians want to colonise the middle east.

They donate to the AIPAC which gets pro-Israeli politicians elected who in turn pass legislation to funnel billions of taxpayer money to the state of Israel which then ends up funding the AIPAC even more.

They want the holy land to belong to white people. The Jews and Christians are ganging up on the Muslims because of racism.

The other countries in the area have either bent the knee (Saudi, UAE, Qatar) or have been crushed by the US (Iraq, Syria). Iran is a powerful country so can put up a fight.

The end goal of the war is an expanded Israel with Palestinians forcibly removed. Iran and Hamas want to stop this.

Yes the Esptein files relate to the timeline but this war continues after Trump is gone due to the existence of the AIPAC. A bill has just been passed to essentially combine the US and Israeli militaries ffs.

I thought it was to suppress the trump-epstein child sex trafficking ring but now I’m not so sure. I think shaking the world like a baby causes great instability which allows a new world order to emerge.

The more obvious answer was of course to distract from the epstein-trump files, but I am not sure it was that simple.

Certain people are claiming Epstein was primarily an arms dealer (state sanctioned) and a sex trafficker second - and frankly the evidence does seem to support that. However he did not get so influential by himself, it’s possible certain characters helped him, not least through Ghislane Maxwells father, which is claimed to have been a triple spy for multiple countries, one of which is israel.

Now i’m not much for conspiracy theories and i’ve got no racial/religious bias against the israelis, but the Mossad is pretty powerful and it is plausible that it may have used people like Epstein to get dirt on various people (kompromat style). This could also explain why Trump is the first president that accepted Netanyahu’s pitch to attack Iran, but he is a fucking moron after all so who knows?! He may have been emboldened by his success in Venezuela. We will likely never know for sure, but imo this is the best guess given the most plausible claims i have seen so far

You have to understand, President Obama made a joke about President Pedo, and everyone laughed.

President Obama also made deal with Iran to ensure that they wouldn’t develop nuclear weapons.

President Pedo wants to convince everyone that he’s better than President Obama, so he trashed Obama’s deal, and now he has to use the U.S. military to kill Iranian children so everyone knows how tough he is.

That is certainly one factor, Trump does primarily act on pride, and Obama lives rent free in his tiny brain

Trump is cluelessly lost and erroneous believes there is such a thing as a military solution.

The US backed IMEC trade deal, establishing a route from India to Saudi Arabia, to Israel, to consumers in Europe and America. The agreement was uniting traditional enemies (Israel and the rest of the Middle East) in order to make money together:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India–Middle_East–Europe_Economic_Corridor

This agreement was also why the Saudi kingdom helped Israel attack Iran.

It was going to be signed some time after the October 7th attacks, which interrupted the process. So what’s happening in Gaza also relates.

Trump is now talking about putting an American controlled toll on the Hormuz Straight, not sure whether that’s an alternative to the deal or just a way to highlight it. You’d have to look into the specifics of what’s being proposed in IMEC vs Trump’s ranting.

Iran and Hamas don’t want the deal (as it benefits Israel), so their leaders wanted to destabilize it, and they have.

Since then Trump and Israel have messed it up even further with their usual lunacy, and we’re back to the usual “the middle east is a basket case” type situation.

It’s the fascist United States doing aggressive imperialism and expansionism, as fascist regimes do. Just like Germany in the 1930s.

There’s a journalist that did a video walking down a hallway in one of the gov buildings in Washington. One office door after the next had a “I stand with Israel” sign
