Then he got old and him leading the way would mean pissig over the neighbour’s hedge and going back to the couch. Now he’s not walking anymore. Well, maybe on clpuds.
I’d say a dog would still go to predictable places eg. they’d go for a walk on their usual route (maybe a bit larger).
