Ah, wonderful company that, if you like war crimes, tax crimes and just dastardly acts in general. Really the gold standard in corruption.

Sure, but how does that make anyone money? You saved time not reading, and your time is worth money sure, but not the untold amounts of money and infrastructure that AI has cost. Your place of work still has an angry client, and you still have the same issues with the rep but now with a risk of the LLM hallucinating something in the summery. Lets say you fire the rep for what was in the summery and it turns out they did not do whatever was said and you have a lawsuit (and I would hope some loss of sleep)? I think generative AI peaked at things without stakes like “Harry Squatter and the Chamber of Gains” and has just been a solution looking for a problem even since.
More to the point this was always going to end this way without a path to profit (I know a terrible term) OpenAI alone is losing something like $12 Billion a quarter, and although maybe ads will help their bottom line it will also make that final step into the sort of hell no one wants.

More reasonable then labor for sure, I was shocked to see them go authoritarian like they have. At least there is some other parties to move support to that seem to understand that cracking down on the population is somewhat unpopular. Here in Canada we have seemed to ruined all the options on reasonable parties so at least hearing there is traction with new parties gives me some hope.

? why would someone do that, we don’t get those tariffs.
Hell why would any non us entity want to give money in any way to trump?

I remember the switch was red, but that might be some sort of false memory.

As an outsider, am I crazy for thinking the leaders of the smaller more “extreme” parties like Sinn Féin or the SNP keep sounding more reasonable?

Looks like we are going back to the old days of the big switch

I am still shocked that the party in power is not some ultra conservative one with the way that government administration is operating in the UK.

Ok, I will continue to not sell goods to the states then.

Oh the rural people in Alberta also think this is stupid. Just the same people who are pushing this are the same small few that did parades about how the WHO and UN are controlling us though poisoned water, then the covid convoy, then the “Albertan” Republican party and now this. Its a bunch of useful idiots that are very clearly now getting us funding.
The best part is that this plebiscite was started by a group that wants to stay in Canada and knew this would be taken up by these wackados. The question is does Alberta want to stay in Canada, and the legal result should put an end to this separatist nonsense. (I mean come on we are at least 1000km to the nearest ocean, maybe if the idea was BC and Alberta sure but even then the treaties kinda stop this)

No one wants AI right now.
I don’t know why anyone would ever want “AI” on their workstation let alone in a production environment. Its like a calculator that works 94% of the time, useless and distracting. Or like a bowl of candy where only one is poison, why would you want that?

Canada is still in it, Don’t get much more “North Atlantic” then that.

Nature is healing?

I think I am missing the point here, why is this being shown as some sort of issue?

Wow, thats a bit of a crash out.

Yeah! That is my point!

Credit where it is due.
And to your point people did care when other nations were getting bombed, but most of them have been part of long on going situations that make black and white views difficult. The rest of the world has had the same reaction you are having now when people where bombed in almost every area of the globe, in this case though you have the whole thing happen very very quickly and with almost no rational reason. This time is only different in the lack of pretending.
But the world did time and time again deeply care when the us military killed people. It is a key reason the us reputation is less then stellar and why us tourists often put other English speaking flags on their bags.

Yes, the second and first most voted elections in your nations history. Clearly it is the small number of voters that are not supportive of the only two options at fault.
Managed democracy is meant to be a joke, but the real joke is the attitude on display from americans that somehow still think they live in a democracy.

Maybe they went to an Arkansas school, or any other american one that teaches people to only support the terrible system.
But hey! You voted right so you can be smug and its only fair you get to point your impotent rage at those who did not vote the way you did. And next time when the two parties are both somehow worse you can once again vote for the lesser evil!
MONORAIL!AI!
