Why would somebody smart enough to evade capture, and dump the weapon in the woods, leave a cutesy little note on the cartridge clearly identifying their political beliefs?

Instead of anybody hearing anything about that investigation though, or who might be considering joining in, Charlie Kirk was suddenly assassinated. Now most Republicans seem to be calling for war on the left like their lives depend on it.
