    It’s not what they’re called that makes the difference

    Then stop asserting they’re not police officers like it means something, when you just acknowledged that it doesn’t.

    It’s that they swear allegiance to the Constitution but are trampling on the whole Fourth Amendment

    Yeah I don’t think they are, and in the situation where it’s borderline it’s due to to aggressive mobs obstructing them from their duties. Situations where there is actual constitutional violations should absolutely be handled in the court, not by flash mobs obstructing then from proceeding.
