A panel of United Nations independent experts has accused Israel of engaging in a campaign of starvation and genocide in Gaza as the effects of the famine are being felt across Gaza. Palestinian physician and activist Mustafa Barghouti says “what we see today is a purposeful act of starvation” and that the real intention of the Israeli government has never changed. “Their main goal is the total ethnic cleansing of all of Gaza people and all of the Gaza Strip.”
They think that if there is no Palestine, there will be no Palestinians.
That tactic didn’t work out so well with the Kurds. Or the Tibetans. Or the Tuareg.
Or any of these other groups:

They don’t really need to exterminate the Palestinians. They just need to kill enough that they can colonize the rest of Palestine. By that metric, it worked out pretty well against those other groups.
Apart from the fact that many of those groups have been fighting guerilla wars for years.
Most of those “stateless nations” are concentrated in a state or sub-national division, that mostly corresponds to their traditional homeland.
Expelling all Palestinians from Palestine would be a blow to their nation. Jewish people took millennia to rebuild a nation, and it only happened because of extreme circumstances.
The Romani have been wandering since being expelled from India. They still are a people. You can kill a state, you can take the land, but you can’t kill an idea.
They are a people, but not a nation. There isn’t any movement that unifies them internationally. I mean just that if the Palestinians lose their land completely, they might indeed end up like the Roma. And I mean, they are to this day some of the worst treated people in the world.
They have been working to have their own nation since the 1950s.
But it never got anywhere. I’m not trying to diss Roma people or anything, I’m just trying to say that the Palestinians being expelled from their land in a diaspora is a bad thing!!
It hasn’t gotten anywhere yet. But the idea will not die, just like the idea of Palestine won’t die.
Of course it’s a bad thing. No one is suggesting anything otherwise.
What gave it away? All of Gaza being bombed to rubble?
I agree they’re trying to get rid of the Palestinians; you could see that with the early slaughter, and their comments to the US, Europe, and the Arab states of, “Well if you’re so keen on protecting them, you take them!” And I think they’re okay with starvation, if that’s what it takes.
But honestly, at this moment right now I think they’re trying to thread the needle: starve and bomb them enough that their immune systems are weakened (which is already done). And then just wait for some disease or other to rage through the refugee camps. Everyone is packed in so tightly, and there are so few safe places to go, that disease is just going to rip through the population once it takes hold. And Israel will continue to hold up humanitarian aid, but (at the exact same time) proclaim that they didn’t have anything to do with those deaths, it’s all just very very sad.
Genocide. It’s called genocide.
Agree with what this article says, but in general particular caution should be used with this source, from wikipedia:
There is no consensus on the reliability of Democracy Now!. Most editors consider Democracy Now! a partisan source whose statements should be attributed. Syndicated content published by Democracy Now! should be evaluated by the reliability of its original publisher.

You forgot to add they have a HIGH rating for credibility and factual reporting. Source
That’s patently incorrect. Watch Democracy Now for a week just for headlines. You will understand that in all news media, Amy Goodman stands for truthful news reporting above all else.
All news is partisan. This is not the cautionary warning you think it is. Wikipedia lol.
That is the one trustable source in news.
I fully agree.
