Tesla took taxpayer money that existed to create economy EVs, and was allowed to build “luxury” cars that they knew would never be competitive with other economy cars in terms of price, then they gave the money they took to Elon in a pay package.
Not only was this company used to siphon hundreds of billions from the American taxpayer, it stifiled the US’s transition to green energy which is required to stop the extinction of all macroscopic life.
This world is broken
Just share the original video instead of this insufferable guy
This is his original video 🤣
It’s in the description https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6FaSBBYv-Q
Linking to source materials just means you’re discussing a topic mentioned elsewhere. Where you been?
He calls it “the original video” himself, in the description.
He’s not discussing anything, this is a “react” video, pointing at what’s on screen saying “this” and nodding. Making faces, laughing loudly. It’s the leftist version of Asmongold. He’s not a perceptive analyst giving his take on the world, he’s your buddy who you like to talk shit with. It’s all truism and platitudes.
It’s slop.
It’s not at all. It’s obvious you didn’t watch it. The guy goes deep in on topics and looks at counterpoints to discuss the merits of whatever gets brought up.
You’re just lazy AF 🤣
I did watch the parts when he talks, (I had already seen the CNBC video)
It absolutely is a react video. There’s no expertise, no research, it’s all stuff he thought of in the moment. I truly have learned nothing, and it didn’t make me think.Youtube is now full to the brim with those mass produced videos. Mostly echo chambers, partisan, and without substance. Little comforting bubbles.
That’s not to say there aren’t quality opinion based videos being produced, but I feel like they’re getting harder to find.
I was just watching an analyst of the war in Ukraine I like, Anders Puck Nielsen🤣😎
I can tell you why.
Even before the owner of their company overtly showed he was a Nazi piece of shit, the Cybertruck was an overpriced and ugly piece of shit.
The Cybertruck is the first Tesla vehicle that was designed completely under the direction of Musk. The other models had all been part of the original Tesla founders’ long term plans. They had a series of vehicles they wanted to produce, and they laid the groundwork for them years in advance. The Cybertruck was the first after Musk had gained complete control. It represents what is truly in his heart. He is a machine man. An unnatural man. With a machine mind and a machine heart.
It’s just like if Homer Simpson were in charge of designing a car:
I will say that it’s styling is unique and distinctive, and looks like it belongs in a videogame, making it a polarizing “love it or hate it” aesthetic. While such a risky choice could potentially succeed, Musk going full MAGA and throwing Nazi salutes really turned a lot of people off of Tesla, and it’s distinctive flagship videogame “truck” became the instant icon of douchbaggery. Add in that Musk chronically over promises and under delivers (i.e., he lies about prospective features and benefits of his products), and every single problem with the vehicle is put under the microscope and (rightfully) held up as an example of why the truck is shit. Also note that, on brand for Musk, the relatively low price that it was promised at ($39,999) never materialized, and the actual price for the base vehicle was over $100K. So yeah, overpriced and shit compared to what was promised. The styling might have been able to find a fanbase, but not now, because it flags you as a Nazi supporter.
If it were an actually good vehicle the styling would have been ugly-cute. Jeeps aren’t particularly good looking but (until recently) their off-road skills made up for it.
But it’s bad at just about everything, made poorly, and looks like a dumpster.
I have a unique and distinctive ass but let’s not pretend anyone but the government was ever lining up to fuck it.
i want a car with good panels that don’t fly off while you’re driving. That’s a good idea.
I was just going to say that it looks like something from a subpar N64 title that hasn’t been played by more than three dozen people since 2004.
The inspiration for the Cybertruck:
Nah, too detailed.
Real inspiration:
If I could have any coin-op video game at my house, the OG Star Wars would be it. Any game.

It was supposed to be $40k? How would anyone ever believe that?
Yup. It’s just hilarious to me. I love it.
saw how ugly, what was it around 2017-18ish.
150k?! They smokin’ that good shit. Wouldn’t spend 50k on one.
Reminder that this streamer watched AI deepfake porn of his fellow streamers.
Who? What? Wait… Are we talking about just_another_person or Elon?
Sadly I know at least 3 of these cybershits are in my city.
I was surprised to find one in my city. And honestly, it felt like being in the presence of an oversized Fisher Price toy car because of the tire fenders. It does not look fancy. You can tell the engineers tried very hard to make it look its best.
It’s “The Homer” IRL, but didn’t cause the company to go bankrupt. Alas.
Go down to Florida. They’re everywhere!
Always Sunny called it. https://youtu.be/tG5t6mPAjg8

AFAIK there’s like one Cybertruck in all of Norway, and it got snuck in through some loophole because it doesn’t meet vehicle standards.
Model Y is selling like hot cakes, though. Most likely because they’re getting cheaper due to nobody else wanting to buy them.
All VW, Kia, etc have to do to beat Tesla is not be enshitification obsessed piles of shit and they just fucking can’t… it’s frustrating.
What’s enshittified about them? I tried an ID.4 for a few days recently and it was quite nice. I also had a ride in a Model 3 and the oversized screen hit me in the knee. Also I don’t think the VW has overhyped self driving which tries to kill you, like Tesla does. So at first glance I’m leaning towards the VW if I was to buy a car right now. What did I miss?
Yeah that reads bad in retrospect, not trying to call Kia out explicitly, just broadly stating that car companies in general need to take a step back and look at WHY Tesla was so popular. The whole thing boils down to a counterculture movement against cat culturep. It’s the ultimate “my car is a tool / function over form” vehicle for commuters. It’s why the Y outsold the Camry. Hell, I’m shopping around FOR a Kia at the moment 😆, probably why their name was top of my head.
They keep trying to make tesla-like cars for people who don’t value function-over-form and it sours the general sentiment on them. Tesla made waves with th bS because it appealed to function-over-form gearheads, who don’t give a shit what’s under the hood as long as its fast.
I think Kia is the leader in the “electric for regular people” with be a close second, but they have those subscription shenanigans they’re doing so, fuckem.
Not really, no. Teslas, yes - cybertrucks, no
This is not a good video
Why?
Its just someone mocking people for liking their trucks. Like yeah the trucks are bad and the people must have some sort of cognitive challenge to still like them them even though they’ve been fleeced. But the video is just a smart ass calling people idiots.
That’s not what it’s about at all…
Okay, maybe I fell asleep while watching it, what’s your favourite part?
These cyber trucks that aren’t selling are all over California… More #FakeNews
