Shaggy’s slice looks like a pizza slice shaped cardboard box, and who the hell holds a slice by the cheese? It just gets worse the more I look at it.

Probably just reused cells from a burger or sandwich and artists didn’t have time or budget to redraw

I was obsessed with the pizza and waffles in all dogs go to heaven as a kid. Also Wallace and grommit never fails to get me hungry for cheese and crackers.

Have you ever had a renfaire-style roast turkey leg? That’s what I always assumed they are, and that’s easily one of my favorite things of all time, to the point that I keep turkey drumsticks in my freezer quite often.

One time in a game of DND the players were exploring a strange cave system, and found a strange thick goo collecting in a pool. Players being players, one of them decided to eat some.

It was, in my notes, some sort of celestial honey made by these extra planar insects that were causing some of the region’s problems. It was supposed to taste amazing, but with some drawbacks. I started to blank when trying to describe how good it was, and the phrase that came out was “it’s like… It’s like … it’s like seven pizzas!”

The player eating it, his eyes lit up and was like “AMAZING”

The other players were like “wat”

I think that adequately captured how delicious it is but also maybe you shouldn’t be eating it.

I want to open a “cartoon food” restaurant, but I don’t know how. But where there’s a will there’s a way, or some shit like that.

Cartoon sandwiches always look delicious. I’m not even saying the giant, over the top sandwiches that Scooby and Shaggy can make, but a simple 2 bread and lettuce basic sandwich.

That, and pizza, when I was growing up in my home country, is kind of seen as a luxury thing. We only eat pizza on special occasions. Now as a grown up, I can afford to be obsessed with pizza.

Do people actually like pizza with the crust so flaccid and the cheese so melty that it drips off? A good slice doesn’t come apart before you can eat it.

    (Any innuendo is deliberate.)

It depends on a few factors.

The biggest one being why it’s flaccid and/or has runny cheese - Some pizzas are just greasy and lead to flaccid crust/runny cheese. And a greasy pizza isn’t necessarily bad.

Just like a burnt hot dog isn’t necessarily bad either. Seriously - a somewhat burnt hot dog can be delicious depending on the circumstances - just like an ice cold beer hits different outside on a hot day.

This is called bar pizza where I am and it’s great when done right. But it also needs to be eaten hot. Once it congeals it changes the texture too much.

A pizza chain back home had a pastrami pizza that was a classic red sauce pie with pastrami, pickles and a mustard drizzle. Damn I miss what-a-lotta pizza. I think about it every time I see cartoon pizza

I used to manage a place called Chino’s Dada. It was a combination Chinese restaurant/ pizzaria. Our General Tso’s Chicken Pizza was very popular. No pizza sauce, General Tso’s sauce, chicken pieces, onions, green peppers and cheese.

I personally preferred the coconut chicken pizza, or the crab rangoon pizza, but those were slightly sweet.

Lexington KY, unfortunately it closed shortly after I left.

The crab rangoon pizza was the cream cheese, carrot, onion, celery and krab meat mix we stuffed into the wonton wrappers to make crab rangoon used as sauce, then topped with more krab meat, onions, pineapple, and cheese.
