The woman shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday was Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who had recently moved to Minnesota.
She was a U.S. citizen born in Colorado and appears to never have been charged with anything involving law enforcement beyond a traffic ticket.
In social media accounts, Macklin Good described herself as a “poet and writer and wife and mom.” She said she was currently “experiencing Minneapolis,” displaying a pride flag emoji on her Instagram account. A profile picture posted to Pinterest shows her smiling and holding a young child against her cheek, along with posts about tattoos, hairstyles and home decorating.
If that group of armed men approaching her car had been black, we’d be having an entirely different conversation.
A life snapped in a moment by someone that had no right. She was executed while trying to run away from a terrifying situation, and now her kids also have to endure the way they’re talking of their mother and try to process that.

The other day I was in the car and I remembered that gruesome video where a brick flies out of the back of a truck and instantly kills a mother in the following car’s passenger seat…
My palms got kinda sweaty, and I started thinking about how I would react if that happened to my loved ones.
Then I remembered that I have much more immediate concerns to be worrying about, like getting stopped by ICE for being non-white (despite my citizenship) and getting shot in the face by someone with zero training.
Artists are typically among those who are more than willing to fight against dictators.
What’s wild is rightoids, by and large, love this shit. They’re literally celebrating it and unironically being like “THATS FOR KIRK!” So much of their political philosophy is “look what you made me do to you!”
And then get all butt hurt when one of their own faces any slight criticism. Not the sane or smart we are dealing with here, act accordingly.

It seems like your choices when confronted by ICE are:
- Try to run away. You may get get murdered during your attempt.
- Identify yourself, possibly be incorrectly identified as “not a citizen,” possibly die in a concentration camp.
- Exercise the second amendment. Get shot and die.

That same person I asked said they thought she deserved it. They said they saw a video (not the videos), and they thought she tried to kill the ice agent. That’s how they all feel. All of them. Shooting the driver of a vehicle doesn’t stop the vehicle. There is literally never a reason to kill a driver, especially in a populated area where the vehicle becomes a deadly projectile.
Puppy Killer took the time to point out instances of people blocking ICE cars, and it was clearly pissing her off. They want to end that practice, because it works, and gives targets a chance to escape.
So I wouldn’t be surprised that they were ordered that if anyone blocks an ICE vehicle, to leap in front of it, and kill the driver, and send a message. So that guy got out of his car, drawing his weapon, and as she looked at him, he put two bullets in her face.
Minnesota should arrest the ICE Jackal for First Degree murder, all the rest as accessories, and everyone in the chain of command who created the order, and passed it down, for murder as well.

I do. I’ve joined a collective of armed leftists. I was legit surprised that they existed.
If you own a gun, and you conceal carry, consider finding your local group and get involved.
And stay quiet. They all think that only they have the guns, and they think we’re all going to just get on our knees, and politely take the bullet in the brain. And frankly, a lot will.
But a lot of us are also going to fight back, and that will be a big surprise to them. An even bigger surprise is that when it kicks off, they will discover that the lefty shooters are MUCH better shots than MAGAs, who only own guns to convince others that they don’t have a micropenis.
You guys need more of you. I know many of the left are armed down there and not showing off their “stashes” but the great majority I have seen do not seem left leaning (red hats, snake flags, etc, seem to often be present in the pictures). Hoping you guys get this under control
I’ve said this in other comments but bares repeating: we have a lot of people willing to fight for democracy, but very few people willing to die for it.
I won’t share anything specific on what the group does (or doesn’t do) but the biggest thing that anyone within the US can do right now is to get politically involved, especially if you are white and cis.
- Find immigration attorneys and volunteer your time and talents with them
- Find LGBT+ groups and be their ally
- Volunteer at local homeless shelters, legal aid centers, etc.
You can do all of those things anonymously if you fear for your own safety. But get involved. I’ve done all of those things I listed above and I can tell you that the needs are huge. The more you make yourself known, the more people will trust you and you will be come part of the resistance.
