Does ‘liberal’ just mean “one’s political opponents”?
I mean asking an average American to define any established political term is like asking a child where Christmas presents come from.
They do not get properly educated about it, average Joe America gets what little political understanding they have from propaganda merchants motivated to keep them angry.
Moreso because an American Liberal is more of libertarian capitalist than a true liberal. They want a free market before they want a free people. American Liberals are right wing while the media contantly calls them “the left” of the country.
Americans aren’t merely uneducated. They’re misinformed and gaslit.
So if I find stupid mother’s and fuck them, does that make me a liberal? Just trying to understand.

For american conservitives “liberal” means neo-liberal and “conservitive” means neo-conservitive.
Both into global interventionism just divided on soft vs hard power.
Both are vaguely “christian” in the cultural sense.
Both nationalist though the right owns the idea more but tie it greater to concept of both christian and white identies.
Leftists and conservatives each mean a different group of people when saying “liberal”. Conservatives are only liberals in the leftist definition

So, a guy like Mamdani is a stupid MF because he’s working in the system?
Some would say yes. Most with half a brain cell would say:

- He’s not a liberal.
- In a two party FPTP system, you have to work within existing parties. That’s part of the design so they can control candidates easier.
At this point, any political label is worse than useless.
Plenty would argue that Mamdani is a ‘liberal’ because he’s a Democrat.

If I call myself a ‘Socialist’ some MAGat will say I love National Socialist Hitler and/or Soviet Socialist Stalin.
If I say “tax the billionaires” I force them to deal with the actual issue.
Doesn’t matter what you call yourself fascists are going to call you things anyway. Probably should not concern yourself so much with what they think. The only thing they’re good for is decorating the eaves of gas stations.
