Like an italian hoagie but a round bun, pizza cut into squares rather than traditional slice, meatballs in cube form
I don’t eat meat anymore but even when I did, I disliked it being in a loaf shape.
Pasta. I like the small pieces, like penne or fusilli, but I just cannot be fucking bothered if it’s spaghetti. I simply refuse.
I think I want to marry you. I fucking hate spaghetti and no one seems to understand.
For me it’s the penis shaped pasta. If it is anything else I also refuse.
penis shaped pasta
I really need a picture to visualize what you’re talking about. O_O
I agree to an extent. Some shapes work better for difference sauces because of the way their shape holds onto sauces. Like shapes with lots of ridges are great for “mac and cheese” as opposed to long smooth noodles.
Soup that isn’t in the shape of its container.
Any preference if that soup is in a square bowl, or round fishbowl, perhaps a giant martini glass?
I think it’s really just if the soup doesn’t conform to the container. That would be disturbing soup
It’s just a phase buttmasterflex
Gosh, Mom, I can be a shear-thickening fluid if I want to be! Stop trying to make me fit your definition of physical matter!
I absolutely hate soup in wide, shallow bowls. The bowl needs to be deep, preferably shaped like a half-sphere

You’re basically describing a muffuletta which is delicious.
And thin crust pizza is commonly cut into squares, also delicious.
I’m sure muffuletta is delicious but if given the option, I’m picking a submarine shape 9/10 times. I’ve never liked square pizza, getting a square corner piece from a tray pizza is worse than insulting someone’s mother.
Getting that little corner piece is a great sign of respect in my culture (Chicago). Often reserved as a reward for the courier of the pizza.
Seriously the corner rocks. also true for brownies.
Double the cheese gristle and browned edge. Oh it’s so delicious.
Ah, Chicago, makes sense. Give me middle pieces all day.
Food is food regardless of what shape it is served in. As long as the textures and flavor are there I can give zero shits.
You must give some shits if you’re human. You are human…right?
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.
Have you ever had orzo pasta with a heavy Bolognese sauce? It’s genuinely worse than a larger noodle; topology is destiny.
Risoni Bolognese is delicious.
Not my thing. I’m a big texture eater though, orzo pasta has very few places in my kitchen outside of pasta salad
I mean, I am too but there isn’t anything wrong with the texture of risoni bolognese imo.
But if I requested spaghetti yet received risoni, there would be a complaint because the two are indeed wildly different.
Corn. Must be on the cob, I cannot enjoy it otherwise.
The day they proclaimed their mortal enemy, Mexican food.
I understand some prefer flour tortillas, but if its corn tortillas vs no tacos, the answer is always tacos. Also salsas with corn are always welcome for me.
My spouse would say she wouldn’t want to live without corndogs probably…
Also do you dislike popcorn?
Popcorn is alright. It’s just regular loose corn that isn’t as appetizing to me.
I can’t believe no one has brought to light the only objectively correct answer. Chicken nuggets in any shape other than dinosaurs are just worse.
Pizza in squares absolutely I have no interest in.
My hands shake, and I have very hard time on holding onto the damn thing. If it’s in a triangle with the crust at the edge for my hands to hold onto then I enjoy the pizza.
Also, super thin crust pizza. No . hard pass. Either hand tossed or deep dish.
Other than that, I’m not picky as far as the shape of it
Spotted Dick actually in the shape of a spotted dick.
IYKYK
“Wait ‘til you see my toad-in-the-hole!”
Deli meat cut thick, no thanks. I want to see through it or I’m not eating it
I used to get all my deli turkey shaved, so much better than sliced
Does ham count? I do like a nice thick slice of ham for easter but in sandwiches I agree with you.
Green beans icky,
French cut green beans 👌
Ever tried to make a hotdog-shaped hamburger because you didn’t have the right bun? Don’t.
Like… a frikadel or a shish kebab?
Hot dogs that don’t look like wieners. Wait—
Cheap hot dog > cheap bologna
Ground [Insert Food]
Pretty much a lot of food is for me more palatable if you pulverise / ground / dissolve if. For example, I rarely eat pork or beef in a morr “cohesive” form, but ground? Works like a charm. Same for a lot of greens that I usally don’t like, they make wonderful additions as fillings or stew ingredients. Finely chopped works as well!
I’m exactly the opposite. There are very few times when I’d prefer ground meat over whole cuts, pretty much only sausage in lasagna.
Mashed potato chips.
But everyone in the pringles mashed potatoes videos seem to love it
