    Here is his Globe remarks:

"This is for Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered. We’re in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded. He’s telling the world that international law doesn’t matter to him. The only thing that matters to him is his own morality, but the guy is a convicted felon; a convicted rapist.

“He’s a pedophile,” Ruffalo continued. "He’s the worst human being. If we’re relying on this guy’s morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we’re all in a lot of trouble.

“So this is for her,” Ruffalo concluded. “This is for the people in the United States who are terrorized and scared today. I know I’m one of them. I love this country. And what I’m seeing here happening is not America.”

      convicted rapist.

Isn’t saying this publicly the thing that got George Stephanopoulos sued? Not that he’s substantially wrong in saying this, but “right” and “wrong” aren’t exactly things that influence Trump’s decision-making.

Ruffalo also has the money to go to court and have it out about the definitions of the words adjudicated, alleged, confirmed, convicted etc.

I know if I was the orange child rapist I wouldn’t want to go to court to discuss those different definitions because at some point I’d have to admit that I was in fact an adjudicated rapist.
Then again I’m not a mushy brained narcissistic dictator so…

Plus of course it’s technically correct. Trump has not been convicted of rape, but he has been convicted of other crimes and he is a rapist. So he is indeed a convicted rapist.

Stephanopoulos wasn’t “reporting” when he said that, though; it was during an interview with a guest on the show. I’m not sure that’s a significant difference.

And ABC should have fought it in court, and they would have won, but they voluntarily gave up the bribe Trump was demanding.

Later, Kimmel forced them to grow a spine and fight back, and MAGA backed down. Kimmel knows how to handle bullies.

We know for a fact ICE is contracting workers to monitor the Internet and social media including Reddit.

When I read stupid shit like that, I assume it’s most likely paid ICE contractors and/or state fusion centers doing what they get paid to do (promote the administration, stir shit up, monitor people, and try to get people to incriminate themselves). On the off chance it’s a legitimate idiot, then you can at least take a little comfort in knowing that even though we’re all being fucked over, the idiot still supporting them is being double fucked by paying taxes and willingly providing free labor to the state to promote their own exploitation.

He’s been great in more things than I can count, but I never look for him. I never say “Look, a new Ruffalo movie, let’s check it out,” the way I do for DiCaprio or Gyllenhall, or a few others.

I’ll be changing that somewhat in the future. I probably won’t watch it just because of him, but being in the cast will definitely make me look on the film more favorably.

Did Gyllenhall have some similar political sentiment or is your opinion just based on his past performances? I recognize him when I see him but don’t really see him as a reason to be excited/turned off for a movie.

No, I just never saw him as the sort of actor that demanded much notice. He does fine work, but isn’t remarkable IMO, not like Ruffalo is.

I saw Gyllenhall in a limited Broadway run of Sunday in the Park with George, and he was amazing. He would have easily won the Tony that year, but the production took itself out of contention.

I’ve been a big fan ever since. I’ll go see anything he does.

I think it’s saying you can’t escape Twitter posts being reposted everywhere.

Like this utterly valueless reply from @vincedmonroy, when we could have just had a quote of Marc Ruffalo’s statement from the Oscars, which other commenters have posted.

Isn’t these print screens from the nazi-pedophile platform X? People who find it normal to use such platform are the reason why fascism is becoming a reality on the streets as well.
