If ICE agents started disappearing you’d get a lot fewer volunteers. Bovino’s outside in range of so many buildings pretty often. Would just take a dedicated few to send a message.
What they want for their civil war is a character they can point to as a central villain to polarize “the enemy” around; if agents get picked off and no one gets caught, they don’t have the character they need for the story they want to tell.
And honestly, if you’re against what I’m saying, consider that the only way the cops will arrest the murderers from this afternoon is if they fear retribution. Have the cops arrest those ice agents for the “safety” of those ice agents.

I am vehemently anti-death penalty. That said, I have zero problem whatsoever with making violation of the public trust and willful abuse of power by elected and appointed officials into a capital offense. ICE has forfeited the rule of law that protects society. Between the memo disregarding the Constitution and their actions, they have become the realworld version of Fallout raiders.

True, and if our system fails and the elections process are messed with then I will have a different opinion about what should be done.
