Nah, the kid isn’t a hat, he’s a human shield.

People are far less likely to shoot evil billionaires (and infinitely less likely to do so and gain public sympathy) if they do it near their spawn, so he’s been bringing his 4yo everywhere he thinks he might otherwise be shot ever since people started celebrating Luigi.

They executed the kids during the Spartacus Revolt. Gotta make sure the slave owners kids don’t come back for revenge.

He is really old, he’ll be 79 in june. How many people that are that age, you hear they die, and you’re like, “mmhmm, they had a long life.” He should be at his country clubs being racist and assaulting women like all the other republicans. Retire, it’s just a job man.

The optics of Musk addressing the room while Trump is disengaged are bad enough without simply making up things that are not there.

“Why is Elon Musk acting as the leader while Trump is disengaged” is a hard question for a reasonable person to deal with.

Saying “lol look at Trump sleeping” when that’s obviously not what is happening, makes you come off as unserious and casts doubt on anything you say in the future.

Spreading misleading lies is not the way to engage with the world. (To those of you that are people and not disinformation bots/agents)

His hands are very close together, he’s looking between his hands and we know Trump is a social media junkie.

Without the caption you would assume he’s sleeping because someone probably flipped through hundreds of frames of video to find the shot that looked the worst so they could post about it.

Trump, if you’re to believe the rumors, uses stimulants and drinks a lot of caffeinated soda. He’s not falling asleep in the middle of the day.

It’s worse, he’s letting an unelected man, the richest man in the world, who paid for his campaign, act as the leader while he reads Twitter.

Him merely being asleep would be preferable over Musk being in the room. Incompetent and lazy leadership by Trump would be vastly better than his simply handing the reigns of power to an unelected non-American.

That’s the messaging that needs to be happening. All this is going to do is make the blue team laugh and the red team think the blue team is ignorant.

Meanwhile, Elon is taking a chainsaw to our entire government while we’re too busy trying to score points on the other team (who are the people we need to be allying with to protect the US).

I clearly stated in the first half of my response that I wasn’t suggesting anyone do this, but the parent comment said saying something that’s not the truth will only achieve republicans thinking their opponents are ignorant and nothing else.

This is demonstrably false. Anything pushed hard enough becomes the status quo. This is important to know even if all you want to do is fight back against it.

What gets me about this photo is how fundamentally unserious the whole scene appears. The body language of nearly everyone, the lack of focus, the shabbiness of it all… just embarrassing. I’ve seen high school clubs looking more competent and serious.

I know this is just an aesthetics thing, but it gets to me. 🤷

DMSO is an industrial solvent that was all the rage in the late 70’s/early 80’s because people said it had magic powers to cure everything. By itself it showed some uses for pain relief but it also has the ability to absorb other chemicals and transfer those chemicals through the skin - which could have bad results.

People who use it repeatedly have a sulfur-ish funk to them.

I don’t know if RFKjr uses DMSO, but it seems up his alley.

It’s been widely reported. Much of the cabinet hates Musk.

Look at it from their perspectives. They’ve sold their souls to grasp at power, and now that they have control over massive federal agencies, this motherfucker starts trying to fire their staff and cut their funding.

“It’s been widely reported” means there’s been lots of reports. As in, you can look it up and find hundreds of articles about from all sides of the political spectrum with less effort than it takes to call everyone a liar.

But since you’re too lazy to even do that, you can click the link below.

            http://lmgtfy2.com/?q=cabinet+members+instruct+staff+to+ignore+musk+email

Asking someone to cite a source is important for information that obscure. When it’s for a news story that’s been on every radio, TV, internet, and print news sources in the country non-stop for multiple days, it just makes you look like an ignorant asshole.

I just gave you hundreds of sources you ignorant ass. Including the AP, the BBC, the NYT, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and more.

When you demand sources for what’s being reported by literally every major news outlet, you just make it clear you either are intentially trying to mislead or are intentionally uninformed.

If it’s the first, then you’re doing a terrible job and you may find yourself falling out of a window when the boss finds out how shitty you are at your job. If it’s the second, then it isn’t my job to educate your stupid, ignorant ass.

There are tons of easily found articles. I saw a bunch regarding the recent email. Here’s merely one, and it references the differences and how the cabinet is not all on the same page. I remember seeing some references explicitly to specific cabinet secretaries or top appointed agency officials directing their agency to disregard it. It’s interesting.

A Trump administration official said the move led to “some annoyance” among not only top officials, but even some Cabinet secretaries, adding that the secretaries “are in charge of their own agencies and need to conduct their own reviews for where cuts may be needed.”

“The president respects the decisions of his Cabinet secretaries to tell their staff not to respond to that email because they did so out of interest of national security and they don’t want to obviously risk confidential information.”

Meanwhile, those working in the executive office of the president, for example, were told they do not have to respond and are considered exempt from the email.
