The fact that Zuckerberg whipped up a shitty PHP app to steal girls’ phone numbers and is now one of the richest assholes on the planet is frustrating.

The fact that I helped it along for so many years by using Facebook even moreso.

    I feel used.

Zuck did little for development. He stole Facebook and conned the other shareholders out of their share. Most tech billionaires have a similar story. They have rich parents and were investors.

It should simply not be legal anywhere to hold more money than you could possibly spend in your lifetime.

Similarly, much like there is a minimum wage (at least in the U.S.), there should be a maximum wage. And that would include stock options.

The middle class gets a wealth tax, but the top people don’t. Freaking wealth tax above <whatever>. This current state of affairs is ridiculous.

Agreed. And I amend my statement. If rich people want to live the high life with all of their money in Tehran or Pyongyang and not have to worry about pesky old taxes, don’t let me stop you. Most other places? Tax them at 99.99% at a certain level. All of their assets.

Why use a played out Trump and Musk photo. Use photos of people we would be surprised to see on the list.

So Elon is basically 4% of the top five hundred’s wealth alone?

I wonder how much Putin or Saudi royalty are actually worth.

CBC has a fundraising drive for food banks every year. This year they raised around 2.3 million dollars.

    So yeah.

    Efficiency.

The rich keep on getting richer and the poor poorer. At the same time, the middle class shrinks.
